Tesco has partnered with environmental charity Groundwork to administer the scheme.The first round saw £11.7m invested in local community projects, with 1,170 community projects around the country receiving either £8,000, £10,000, or £12,000. The second round opened for applications on 18th April, and closes on 3rd June, with voting taking place in October.It is open to organisations including voluntary/community organisations, registered charities, health bodies, parish/town councils, social enterprises, Community Interest Companies, schools, hospices, community councils, local authorities and housing organisations.
