first_img Ravel Morrison 1 Lazio manager Stefano Pioli has ruled out any chance of former West Ham midfielder Ravel Morrison leaving before the transfer window shuts. The Englishman only moved to Rome in the summer, arriving from Upton Park on a free transfer after his contract expired. However it has been reported that the 22-year-old is unsettled and itching for a return to England, with QPR interested.Lazio boss Pioli has been quick to rubbish those rumours, though, and instead reiterate his desire to keep the player.“Morrison will definitely stay with us,” said Pioli.“There’s never been any possibility of him leaving. He has technical quality, he’s improving, but there’s work to be done from a tactical point of view.“He has to work harder when he doesn’t have the ball. If he does that then he’ll get his chance.”last_img read more
