In order to address the immensedemand for data science professionals, the department launched anMS in Data Analytics program in August 2018. This program providesstudents with the advanced education necessary to draw insightsfrom real data and apply analytical skills to solve practicalproblems. More information about MS in DataAnalytics program can be found here .Required Qualifications ResponsibilitiesThe successful applicant will: An earned doctorate by start of appointment.Evidence of or strong potential for scholarly and professionalachievement.Evidence of or strong potential for teaching and/or trainingeffectiveness.Proven track record of industry and/or commercial applicationsin data science/analytics.Expertise in at least two fields in Data Science (data mining,data visualization, machine/deep learning, big data and databasesystems, data/information security, data-driven modeling andprediction, image or natural language processing) and at least onefield in Applied Technologies (IOT, AR/VR/computer vision, mobilecomputing, cloud computing, HCI, blockchain, robotics, largeautonomous systems).Demonstrated awareness of and sensitivity to educational goalsof a multicultural population as might have been gained incross-cultural study, training, teaching and other comparableexperience. first_imgTOWN OF MAINE (WBNG) — The West Corners Lions Club teamed up with Most Holy Rosary Church in the Town of Maine to hold a food giveaway Saturday morning. Bush said the giveaway was the latest in a series of drive up events held by the club since the pandemic began. The groups gathered in the church parking lot to distribute 8,000 pounds of milk products as well as 100 CHOW food boxes plus additional food donated by the church.
